Major clue for when Australia will open their international borders as international students are expected to return until 2022

The Australian government has dropped a major hint as to when international borders may open after confirming international students won’t be allowed back into the country until 2022.

Education Minister Alan Tudge is set to deliver a talk at RMIT University in Melbourne on Wednesday where he will announce education facilities won’t be seeing mass returns of foreign students for another year, according to the Australian Financial Review.

The announcement offers an insight into the thinking of the federal government, with Australians waiting on international borders to reopen for the first time since March 20, 2020.
