Presenter and actor Sherrie Hewson is loved for her roles on ITV soaps Emmerdale and Coronation Street, and played Joyce in the sitcom Benidorm. Sherrie will join you for tours of Burano and Murano and deliver a talk about her life and career.

Murano has been renowned for its glasswork since the 13th Century, and you will watch a master Italian glassmaker at work. You will also explore the pretty fishermen’s village of Burano, famous for its brightly coloured houses and centuries-old tradition of lace-making.

Superb excursions: You’ll also have the chance to enjoy a superb selection of optional on-shore excursions, including a visit to historic Padua, a tour of a manufacturer of hand-crafted gondolas and Venetian masks, and a walking tour in Casanova’s footsteps through the secret passageways of the Doge’s Palace.
