Amazon driver boogies to the front door as he delivers a parcel

A delivery driver has danced his way to a front door to drop off an Amazon parcel as music blared from his van.

Homeowner Hibatur Choudhury received a notification from the doorbell cam of his house in Silver Springs, Maryland, and opened it up to see an Amazon delivery driver dancing his way through the day.

Footage from the doorbell camera showed the delivery man hop, skip, jumping from the van to the front door – pausing in tune to the music.

Hibatur said: ‘I literally laughed out loud and shared immediately to my family and friends.’

It’s just the latest in a string of dancing delivery people, as workers try to add a bit of fun into every day.

In November, a FedEx delivery driver became an internet hit after he was filmed dancing to a Christmas song as the countdown to the festive season began.

The video, filmed by Kayla Prosser, showed fellow driver Andy Johnston sitting at the wheel of his van while dancing along to Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas.

In the short clip Mr Johnston held onto the steering wheel and headbanged to the Christmas hit. Turning to face Ms Prosser, from Crystal City, Missouri, he grinned as he mimed the words and pointed at her during the lyrics ‘I just want you for my own.’

And in December a DPD driver was dubbed the UK’s ‘cheeriest delivery man’ after he was caught on camera singing and dancing as he dropped off a Christmas package.

Doorbell camera footage showed Arnaud Helderal using the package as a drum as he made his way to the front door in Bexleyheath, London.

He sang ‘Sunday morning, Christmas time’ to himself while dancing up the driveway to deliver the parcel.

In 2019, an Amazon delivery driver’s reaction to discovering snacks left out by a homeowner went viral after he was captured on security cameras dancing upon the discovery.

The heartwarming reaction during the holiday season was first shared by Kathy Ouma from Middletown, Delaware, who left out snacks for all of the delivery drivers.

‘THIS Made my day! I leave goodies out every year,’ she wrote when sharing two videos showing the reaction from driver Karim Earl Reed III.

Once he placed the item on a nearby chair he noticed a bucket on the other side of the porch filled with snacks and beverages.

Accompanying the snacks was a sign imploring any UPS, USPS, Amazon, and Fedex workers to ‘take some goodies to enjoy on your route.’

The note continued: ‘Thank you for making holiday shopping easy.’

Reed appeared overjoyed when he discovered the snacks left out for him during his route.

‘Oh this is nice,’ he says in the video. ‘Oh they got some goodies! Oh this is sweet! Oh wow. Get out of here! This is sweet! Well this is so nice!’

He then selected a few snacks and a water bottle before leaving the porch.
