Police make dramatic change to their investigation over two missing campers who vanished in remote bushland during  secret affair

The police search for a couple who vanished on a camping trip while they were having a secret affair has shifted significantly more than a year after their disappearance.

Russell Hill, 74, left his property in Drouin, Victoria, on March 19 last year and picked up Carol Clay, 73, from her home in Pakenham in his white Toyota Landcruiser.

Mr Hill was last heard from the next day on March 20 via HF radio, saying he was in the Wonnangatta Valley in Victoria’s high country.
