The Therapeutic Goods Administration says the recent case of fatal blood clotting in a 48-year-old woman is likely linked to her astrazeneca covid-19 vaccination.
Janine Norris from the New South Wales Central Coast died four days after receiving the vaccine.
She suffered from diabetes and other underlying health conditions. The TGA’s vaccine safety investigation has now concluded Ms Norris’ case of thrombosis is likely to be linked to the nation.
It is the third report of an Australian case of blood clotting relating to the astrazeneca vaccine.
