NSW Police responded to a ‘medical emergency’ along the iconic bridge on Friday morning.
Two city bound lanes have been closed sparking commuter chaos.
Live Traffic Sydney took to Twitter to warn drivers to expect further delays.
‘There may be short closures of more citybound lanes on the Harbour Bridge as the NSW Policeoperation continues on the deck of the bridge,’ the post read.
‘Traffic is heavy in both directions, especially citybound. Continue to follow the directions of emergency services on site.’
