Two 15-year-old schoolboys have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 17-year-old was stabbed at a sports club.

Police were called to Cam Sports Club in Dursley, South Gloucestershire, on Friday afternoon.

The victim was taken to Southmead Hospital, Bristol, but passed away overnight as a result of the injuries.

The force have since confirmed they have arrested two 15-year-old boys and a 20-year-old man on suspicion of murder. 

Gloucestershire Police have now launched a murder investigation.

A spokesperson for the force said: ‘Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this sad time.

‘They are currently being supported by specialist officers.’
