New Zealand's shock Covid cluster GROWS as a second quarantine worker tests positive

New Zealand’s shock Covid cluster GROWS as a second quarantine worker tests positive putting a popular café on alert – as fears grow over Australia’s travel bubble

A second quarantine worker from New Zealand has tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the nation’s total number of cases up to 109.

The employee from quarantine facility Grand Millennium Hotel, in Auckland CBD, tested positive to Covid-19  on Sunday.

Health officials do not believe the virus will continue to spread because the person has been self-isolating since they were identified as a close contact of a security guard who tested positive last week.

The security guard had complained of a sore throat in early April, but continued to work over Easter at the Grand Millennium Hotel before getting tested.
