This is the moment immigration agents in Mexico discovered 101 United States-bound migrants hiding in the luggage compartment of a broken-down bus.

National Institute of Migration officials said the officers noticed the coach after it encountered mechanical problems on a road in Oaxaca City, the capital of the southern state of Oaxaca, on Wednesday.

Upon questioning the driver of the bus, the agents proceeded to inspect the vehicle and discovered the migrants, who were lacking legal documents to be in the country.

Immigration agents took into custody 80 Cubans, 18 Guatemalans, two Nicaraguans and one Venezuelan and transported them to local agency stations for processing.

Video footage released by the immigration agency showed a bevy of individuals being led from the compartment area that is normally reserved to load passenger baggage.

The bus driver and two bus attendants were taken into custody. Charges are pending.

On Tuesday, immigration agents detained 62 migrants from Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Honduras on another passenger bus that was pulled over at a checkpoint in Nueva Teapa, a city in the Gulf state of Veracruz.

The migrants, who were being ferried to Mexico’s northern border region with the United States, were transferred to the local National Institute of Migration’s station in the municipality of Acuyacan.

The driver and several attendants aboard the bus were arrested.
