Greene tweeted the video and called Trump the ‘leader of the R party’ and said his America First policies ‘will lead our party to victory in ’22 AND in ’24’

Greene, in turn, told Trump ‘the people love you,’ and thanked the former president for his positive words.

‘Great to spend time with the greatest (& my President), Donald J. Trump at Mar a Lago today!’ she tweeted, calling him the ‘leader of the R Party.’

Greene has been boasting about plans to go to Mar-a-Lago and meet Trump since February 1.

‘I’m excited to go visit him soon and continue to give him a call and talk to him frequently. Great news is, he supports me 100 per cent and I’ve always supported him,’ she said then.

At the time, she was taking heat from a handful of Republicans and swaths of Democrats for controversial social media postings and beliefs.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, without saying Greene’s name, called her ‘loony lies’ a ‘cancer for the Republican Party.’

‘Somebody who’s suggested that perhaps no airplane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that horrifying school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr.’s airplane is not living in reality,’ McConnell said.

Greene has also pushed the conspiracy theory QAnon.

In social media posts she indicated support for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s execution, infuriating Democrats.

Since the, the House Demoratic majority has thrown Greene out of the committees the freshman congresswoman was assigned to be on.

She’s spent her time trolling Democratic lawmakers in the halls of Congress and on social media and making motions for the House to adjourn in advance of partisan bills.

Those votes, which can delay proceedings for as much as an hour, have annoyed Republican lawmakers as well.

Still, Greene hasn’t done anything to shake the support of Trump, who’s been hosting a parade of Republicans at his Florida resort since leaving office in January.
