Luxury apartments with their own cinema and rooftop terrace in Cheshire hit the market for £3.25m

High profile footballers are flocking to snap up apartments in the ‘most expensive’ development outside London with their own cinema and rooftop terrace – and you could be their neighbour for a cool £3.25million.

Footy stars have already reportedly expressed interest in the Windswood development in Bowdon, Cheshire, which consists of four properties and is the most pricey development per square foot outside the capital.

The four-bedroom homes boast stylish features including floor to ceiling windows and doors, a ‘dramatic’ staircase as well as a recycling shoot that resembles an Amazon sorting office.

Each 3,500 square foot apartment, which even feature outdoor underfloor heating, occupy a single floor and offer ‘more space than most large houses’.

The gated homes are located within Bowdon’s Devisdale conservation area and are surrounded by large landscape gardens and offer ‘breath-taking’ views from the rooftop terrace too.

It is believed up to three of the four apartments may already be in the process of being snapped up – so anyone interested in the glamorous location would need to act swiftly.

Simon Kimble MRICS, founder and CEO of high-end property developer Prestbury Estates, said: ‘When I first saw the Windswood site, I knew we had the opportunity to create something truly special.

‘A passion of mine is design and build, especially architecture and creating desirable spaces for the buyer.

‘From the initial architecture to watching the vision come to life is always an exciting moment for me, so now we are nearing completion on our first development project and there is an overwhelming sense of pride in fulfilling the vision.’

Prestbury Estates’ website reads: ‘Entering Windswood the scale and theatre of the space draw you in.

‘Elegant slender stone detailing invites a play of shadows to further accentuate the material which wraps around the entrance lobby.

‘As well as the dramatic staircase, a lift makes light work of reaching your apartment.

‘With unparalleled space and light, the large single level apartments have been conceived to offer more space than most large houses.

‘At almost 4,000 square feet each, with floor to ceiling windows, there’s no question of comparison.’

The impressive properties are located close to plenty of green spaces like Dunham Massey estate, Tatton Park, the Lake District, Peak District as well as North Wales.

But Hale, the market town of Altrincham and Manchester city centre are also within each reach.

The website also states: ‘The master suite is a beautifully considered space.

‘The coffered ceiling has feature lighting, while tactile materials and a muted palette give a restful, sophisticated feel.

‘The views from the floor to ceiling windows are just one of its many striking features.

‘The master bedroom flows through to the dressing room with its generous wardrobes and built in storage, and the stylish master bathroom.

‘The master ensuite is a haven at any time of day. With a stunning freestanding bath, walk in shower and underfloor heating, it is a luxurious and relaxing space.’
