This is the moment two men were caught smuggling gold and cash into an airport, underneath their wigs.

Suspects Magroob Akbarali and Zubair Hassan Rafiyutheen were stopped while leaving the airport on Sunday because of their suspicious hairstyles.  

Officials soon discovered they were wearing wigs concealing two gold paste packets weighing 698 grams.

In the footage, officials can be seen peeling back the fake hair to reveal black packets filled with cash and gold paste glued to crook’s heads.

Gold was also recovered from their socks and rectums.

The cash, along with chunks of gold and other illicit items can be seen laid out on the counter as the crooks watch on in embarrassment.

The pair were arrested in the airport terminal after arriving at Chennai from Dubai.
