A man wielding a knife has been killed by police in Brisbane’s south.
Confronting footage of the incident has emerged online, with the shirtless man seen lunging at officers with a weapon in his hand.
Police were heard shouting at the man repeatedly to drop the knife – which he refused to do – in the car park of Marsden McDonald’s.

The man was then shot by police in the Marsden McDonald’s carpark after approaching officers armed with a knife on Friday
As the man continued to advance towards the officers, a number were heard yelling ‘get on the ground.’
Shots were then fired at the man, who later died from his injuries.
Earlier a witness said the man was threatening staff at the fast food restaurant, and demanded some registers be open.
He was said to be enraged when the staff didn’t comply to his request.
The man reportedly then took the knife and held it to a female employees neck.
