  • Russian President Vladimir Putin has put the country’s nuclear arsenal of over 3,000 warheads on high alert after invading its neighbor Ukraine last week

Bodycam footage shows a Florida driver telling a deputy Putin was to blame after he ran a stop sign with cops waiting at the intersection.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office pulled over the man in Palm Coast on February 24 for going 50 miles-per-hour in a 30 mph zone, the video revealed.

But when officers pulled him over, they heard it was Putin’s fault.

‘Tell you the truth, I just found out that Putin is saying he’s going to launch nuclear thermal war against the world,’ said the Florida driver after being pulled over.

‘I was trying to get back to my house to find out what’s going on.’

At first, the man in the video told the officer he’d struggled to get the car out of ‘sport’ mode.

‘I just got this thing, okay sir?’ said the driver, taking off his baseball cap from behind the wheel of his white Dodge Challenger.

‘I saw you run a stop sign, make a left turn, and then hop on the gas,’ replied the deputy.

The driver said he was sorry, but switched excuses, pointing the finger at Putin’s war in Ukraine as the reason for his speeding, which had started the day the footage was taken.

‘I was freaking out here,’ said the driver, reaching for his insurance.

Since then, Putin has raised nuclear tensions with the west when he put Russia’s nuclear arsenal, the largest in the word with over 3,000 nuclear weapons, on high alert four days later.

UN human rights chief Michelle Bachelet said Thursday that ‘all humanity’ was at risk from the increasing nuclear threat.
