Football fans have shared photos of the terrible beers served up at stadiums across the country.

Some pints were sold with so much froth it made up as much as three quarters of the plastic cup.

At some grounds they even had to give supporters two cups because the head was so big the beer wouldn’t fit in one.

One of the clubs shamed was Manchester United, after a can of Carling was served in a plastic pint cup for £5 at Old Trafford – but only a quarter of it was lager and the rest froth.

Fan Adam Jackson fumed: ‘Amateurs need to learn how to pour a pint, even from a can.’

Another quipped: ‘At Man United we are happy to over pay for anything, Harry Maguire being a prime example. Who, like this pint, also has a massive head.’

The dodgy drinks were shared among fans on the new Footy Bevs Twitter account which has more than 17,000 followers.
