A desperate search is underway for a teenager who went missing from school and left all her belongings behind.

Rythma, 16, left her school bag and other possessions when she was last seen leaving her school in Glen Iris, southeast Melbourne, at 9am on Tuesday.

Police and family are worried for Rythma’s wellbeing and said she has a medical condition.

Investigators said Rythma is known to frequent parks in Malvern and Waverly.

Police have urged anyone with information on the teen’s whereabouts to contact the Mount Waverley police station.
