BREAKING NEWS: Former Vice President Walter Mondale dies at 93

Former Vice President Walter Mondale, who served under Jimmy Carter and who was the Democratic nominee for president in 1984 has died at the at 93. 

Mondale knew that his death was imminent is is said to have spoken with President Biden and former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton as recently as Sunday.  

Mondale and Carter were the longest-living post-presidential team in U.S. history.
