Huge venue alert for Byron Bay as ALL ‘retail and takeaway shops’ in the busy main strip are listed as exposure sites
An urgent alert has been issued for all retail and takeaway shops along the main strip of one of Australia’s popular holiday hotspots.
Byron Bay in far northern NSW is on high alert after an infected Brisbane nurse who unknowingly spread coronavirus while attending a hen’s party in Byron Bay last week.
More venues have been added to list of potential exposure sites.
Anyone who visited a retail or takeaway shop on Saturday March 27 between noon and 4pm in Lawson, Jonson, Browning and Fletcher streets must get tested immediately and self-isolate until they return a negative result.
