'We have not challenged them enough!' Jeremy Corbyn demands Keir Starmer's Labour improves

Jeremy Corbyn told LBC’s Iain Dale that the Labour Party must be more assertive towards Boris Johnson’s Conservative Government. The former Labour leader went on to outline a number of areas that Sir Keir’s Party could improve on as the crucial May local elections approach.

Mr Dale said: “What do you think you would have liked to have seen done a little differently?”

Mr Corbyn said: “I would have liked us to have been much more assertive against the Government on the coronavirus crisis.

“I think we have not challenged them enough on the inefficiency of the private sector track and trace.

“We have not challenged them enough on the lack of transparency on the deals that have been done.”
