Hit-and-run driver crashes head-on into the same car TWICE after doing a three-point turn and heading the wrong way down a dual carriageway

A hit-and-run driver who did a u-turn on a dual carriageway and crashed head-on into a father-of-two’s car is being hunted by police.
Warren Grant was on his way home when the Toyota Prius rammed his motor head-on after performing the illegal u-turn in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
The female motorist, who was wearing a face mask, stopped on the road and performed a u-turn and drove against oncoming traffic. She then swerved and hit Mr Grant’s car, before reversing and hitting it a second time.

The woman then reversed back and struck Mr Grant’s car a second time causing more than £1,000 in damage
Mr Grant, 33, was left with a £1,000 bill for the damage to his car.
This incident happened on Friday evening on the A1159 in Southend, Essex.
Mr Grant captured footage of the smash on his dashcam.
He said:’I really need help to catch this lady.
‘I wasn’t harmed but I’m afraid she’s gonna do it to another innocent road user.
‘She needs to be locked up in prison.
‘I was left shaking and reported it to the police. She is still out there.
‘Please help whoever recognise her.’
He added: ‘Someone messaged me to say she almost hit them too.
‘There’s a lot of damage to my car and the bumper is touching the wheels, I think it could be about £1,000 worth of damage.
‘When I got out of my car, my knees were shaking.’
An Essex Police spokesperson said: ‘We are continuing to investigate following reports of a collision in Eastern Avenue, Southend, on Friday night.
‘We were called at around 11.30pm on 30 April, following reports that a silver Toyota Prius had crashed with a vehicle in Eastern Avenue and had been witnessed driving on the wrong side of the road.
‘Our enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed this incident, or has additional dash cam or CCTV footage, is asked to call us on 101.’
