Speaking to GB News about the government’s response to the ever-evolving crisis in Ukraine and Russia begins invasion, Mr Frost said “we must now be extremely strong.” Since leaving his role, Mr Frost has often been derisory towards the Prime Minister but on Wednesday he said: “The Government is doing a pretty good job. They are leading Europe and beyond. I think if we are getting Europeans a bit more together behind sanctions programme then I think the role the PM has played in that has been really important. I think they are doing a good job and must stick to it. ” His comments came just hours before Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the start of a military operation in eastern Ukraine.
