Michael Gove blasted the SNP after the party pushed to ask a question during an urgent House of Commons session which saw SNP MP Alison Thewliss branding the Government a “cabal” that suffered with “conflicts of interests” in light of the recent lobbying scandal. But the Government minister fired back later in the session when he revealed SNP members had left the house after their questioning was finished branding it a “cynical political stunt”. Other Tory MPs also fired back at the SNP as they brought up the Holyrood Committee’s conclusion that Nicola Sturgeon broke the ministerial code.
