With polling day just one week away, the leading parties are ramping up their campaigns. Ms Sturgeon has so far dominated the campaign with her demand for a second independence referendum and hopes her party will secure a majority – having failed to secure the necessary 65 seats in 2016.

Ms Sturgeon is hoping a majority win for the SNP will provide her with a mandate to go to Boris Johnson and demand a second vote on Scottish independence.
She hopes to stage a referendum by the end of 2023.
The SNP is on course to win a fourth term in office, but it is not yet clear whether they will secure an overall majority.
The First Minister believes Mr Johnson will have no choice but to grant her wish for a second independence referendum if her party wins a majority in the election.
She told the Guardian: “If people in Scotland vote for a party saying, ‘when the time is right, there should be an independence referendum’, you cannot stand in the way of that – and I don’t think that is what will happen.”

Current figures show more than a million voters have registered to vote by post, equating to nearly a quarter of the electorate.
Recent polling suggests the SNP will win next week’s vote, but fail to secure an overall majority.
A Panelbase survey found the SNP will be the largest party in Holyrood with 61 seats, the same number they have now.
Alex Salmond, the former SNP leader who recently formed Alba, a pro-independence party, is predicted to win eight seats.
The Scottish Greens, who also back independence, are set to gain seats and secure 11 MSPs.
Unionist parties such as the Scottish Conservatives and Labour are expected to lose seats.
Overall the pollsters expected the Scottish Parliament to comprise of 61 SNP MSPS, 24 Tories, 20 Labour, 11 Grens, eight for Alba and five for the Lib Dems.
Panelbase interviewed a representative sample of 1075 adults in Scotland, including 16 and 17 year olds, from 21st-26th April for the Scot goes Pop website.
