Boris Johnson broke into a furious row with SNP MP Angus Brendan as the pair discussed the future of Brexit Britain and global trade opportunities. The SNP questioned how much a trade agreement with the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) would be worth for the UK. Mr Johnson reiterated the importance of global trade and insisted it would be of great value to the UK as it increases its exports.
He added it was “foolhardy” for the SNP to continue to push for separation from the rest of the UK in light of this.
