Huge wool shed bursts into flames with fears nearby fuel storage facilities could EXPLODE and residents of nearby suburbs ordered to stay away
One of Australia’s biggest wool storage facilities has spectacularly burst into flames with more than 40 firefighters on the scene.
NSW Fire and Rescue Commissioner Paul Baxter said the explosion in Wickham, Newcastle, is being considered a ‘major’ fire incident.
Mr Baxter said there are ‘major’ concerns for bulk fuel storage facilities nearby.
