A teenager has been charged with murder after the death of a 51-year-old man from significant head injuries in Tasmania.
The man died in the Royal Hobart Hospital on Saturday night after allegedly being assaulted at Sorell, east of Hobart, on March 10.
Police on Sunday charged a 19-year-old from Sorell with murder. He is expected to face court on Monday.

‘Tasmania Police wish to express their sincere condolences to the family of the deceased at this difficult time,’ investigators said in a statement.
‘(We) thank members of the Sorell community who have assisted in the investigation of this incident.’
Police earlier alleged the man was hit with a blunt object.
