The stunt was arranged and filmed by ‘Campus Univers Cascades’, a stunt school based in Le Cateau-Crambresis, in the North of France.

It was performed in a controlled environment and Brian’s safety team, Sarah Belala, Franck Blanc and Lucas Dollfus, were on hand to make sure all went according to plan.

Lucas, 34, director and founder of Campus Univers Cascades, said: ‘We know how to make highfall and human torches, so we wanted to combine these two stunts for some crazy action.

‘You should plan one hour of preparation ahead before performing this stunt. The video shows a stuntman on fire jumping from a roof on a specialized airbag.

‘I was only thinking about the safety of the stuntman and coordinating the stunt correctly to avoid an accident or the chance of any burns to the stuntman.

‘The stuntman concentrates above all on his technique of falling from a height and he must quickly get out of the airbag on landing.

‘We would like people to remember the action and especially the beauty of our job.

‘A stuntman is not a madman. He controls his actions and coordinates all his stunts to never get hurt. We would like to highlight our profession and our Campus school.’
