A senior teacher at a former ballet school has been charged in connection with sexual offences.

Jonathan Barton, 38, pictured, who was vice-principal at Ballet West boarding school in Taynuilt, Argyll, was arrested yesterday. 

He is expected to appear at Oban Sheriff Court at a later date.

An ITV investigation into the school last year found that more than 60 women had made allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
