As the race hots up, two of the participants are neck and neck. 

But the Ikea bag is the clear winner, forging ahead in the last few moments of the wind-propelled contest. 

The funny footage has racked up more than 4 million views on Twitter and 14,000 likes. 

It is now viral and has been widely shared by social media users amused by the escapade.

Many Twitter users thought the clip originated in the UK amid the chaos of Storm Eunice in this country at the weekend. 

They were surprised to discover that the video was filmed when the same storm hit the Netherlands.
