Police hunting for woman, 24, who has been missing for two weeks find body in National Trust nature reserve

Police hunting for a woman who was reported missing by her family two weeks ago have found a body at a National Trust beauty spot.

Bedfordshire Police issued an appeal to find Bethany Edwards, 24, on Friday, saying she had links to Stewartby and Northampton.

Officers described her as 5ft 6in and blonde, told of their concern for Bethany’s welfare, and asked anyone with information to get in touch.

Police said a formal identification has not taken place yet, but Bethany’s family have been informed of the discovery.

The force did not say if they are treating the death as suspicious.
