Frantic search launched for man who tried to lure boy, 11, into ute as he walked home from school
A manhunt is underway for a man who tried to lure an 11-year-old schoolboy into his ute.
The boy was walking home from St Monica’s Primary School at Moonee Ponds, in Melbourne, at 3.45pm on Wednesday.
A driver in an older model green or blue Toyota Hilux then pulled his vehicle up to the 11-year-old at the intersection of Buckley and Tennyson streets.
He told the boy to get inside his vehicle before the 11-year-old ran away and called for help.
