A mother who trafficked liquid fantasy using a ride-sharing app has erupted at a reporter – after admitting to dealing party drugs.

Caitlin Nielsen, 25, pleaded guilty in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday after she was charged with two counts of trafficking GHB, aka liquid fantasy.

The syndicate unravelled in October last year when police spotted the Southbank mum handing an envelope to a DiDi driver outside her apartment block, The Herald Sun reported.

The DiDi driver was quickly intercepted where police found an envelope containing the deadly party drug.

The driver had reportedly accepted a job to deliver a package and was not linked to the drug deal.

Ms Nielsen was arrested on October 18 after detectives tracked the deal back to her Southbank apartment and seized two bottles containing GHB.

During police questioning Ms Nielsen claimed she only used GHB when she didn’t have her son, according to The Herald Sun.

‘So it would be on a Friday night and it would probably be every second weekend.’ she told police.

She claimed she paid $400 for the haul which was dropped off to her apartment but had ‘no idea’ what she would do with the GHB.

When Daily Mail Australia approached Ms Nielsen for her side of the story, she erupted: ‘Why the f*** are you so interested in my life?

‘You’re digging deep and looking a bit desperate.’

The Herald Sun reported Ms Nielsen’s lawyer Tony Hannebery told the court Ms Nielsen was a ‘good mother’.

She had an extensive background in the car sales industry before she was injured in a car accident, the court heard.

A magistrate ordered Ms Nielsen be assessed for a community corrections order.

Her bail was extended ahead of sentencing later this month.
