Police discovered Lukyanchikov sitting on a couch in the yard, while he was so ‘incredibly intoxicated’ he was unable to talk.

He was setting $100 bills on fire with lighter fluid inside a metal fire pit in front of him. Inside the pit was a barbecue grate with a badly burned small dog.

After police extinguished the fire in the metal pit, they discovered the dog had been shot in its eye.

‘Once the fire was under control, patrol observed an unknown animal badly burned and charred on top of a small metal charcoal grill,’ Northampton Township police said.

‘It was later learned the animal was Lukyanchikov’s dog.’

The pet owner’s roommate told police she had heard gunshots from his room earlier in the day. Lukyanchikov reportedly later admitted to her he shot his dog with his 9mm Beretta handgun.

While at his house, Police found blood in the home’s hallway and bullet holes in a bedroom.

Police later found a weapon at the scene similar to the 9mm Beretta handgun Lukyanchikov allegedly used to kill the dog.

Meanwhile, on social media, the alleged pet killer portrayed himself as an animal lover.

In 2017, Lukyanchikov shared a photo on Facebook of five dogs adorned in holiday lights in front of a Christmas tree, according to the New York Post.

No word if the dogs in the photo were one of the animals killed in the incident.

Lukyanchikov remains in custody in lieu of $1 million bail after prosecutors argued he was a danger to the community, combined with the serious nature of his felony animal cruelty charge.
