EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Revealed – The father of Chelsy Davy's newborn baby was at Eton with Prince Harry

Prince Harry might have a mansion in California with nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, but I can reveal his ex-girlfriend has had a baby with a man whose family own a mansion, a manor, an abbey and a chateau.

On Saturday, I disclosed that Chelsy Davy, 36, had given birth to her first child, a boy called Leo, in January without virtually anyone knowing she was pregnant. The father’s identity was a mystery.

Now, the former City lawyer’s friends tell me he is Sam Cutmore-Scott, 37, a successful hotelier, who was in the year above Harry at Eton College.

‘Sam is the father of Chelsy’s baby,’ one of their pals says.

Chelsy Davy began dating Prince Harry while she was a pupil at Cheltenham Ladies’ College. The pair had an on-off relationship for seven years until they split in 2011

Sam is managing director at The Harper hotel in Holt, Norfolk, and Chelsy shared a photo online last week of their dogs on a beach a few miles away.

He’s the brother of Jack Cutmore-Scott, 34, the dashing Hollywood actor best-known for his role in Christopher Nolan’s Oscar-winning film Tenet and the U.S. drama series Deception.

It’s unclear if Sam is married to Chelsy but he’s a director of his parents’ hospitality company, the Bijou Collection, which owns four exclusive wedding venues. These include a mansion and a manor in Surrey, an abbey in Buckinghamshire and a chateau in the South of France.

I understand Chelsy and Oxford graduate Sam (pictured) live together in Chiswick, West London. Their baby was born at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in January.

Party-loving Chelsy, who was born in Zimbabwe and now runs a jewellery and luxury travel business, revealed in 2020 that she had a serious boyfriend, but did not give his name, explaining: ‘There is someone, and I am quite taken by this one, but it’s very new and I don’t want to say too much.’

Her last known boyfriend before then was dashing television producer James Marshall, from whom she split in 2018.

Chelsy began dating Prince Harry while she was a pupil at Cheltenham Ladies’ College.

The pair had an on-off relationship for seven years until they split in 2011, as Chelsy didn’t want to be a royal bride.

Both Chelsy and Sam declined to comment yesterday.

Most of us loathe litter, but mild-mannered gardener Alan Titchmarsh is willing to risk a run-in with the police in his quest to keep Britain tidy.

Asked what his biggest pet hate is, the television presenter says: ‘Litter. I say to my wife, ‘I’m going out with a black bag and a litter picker to clear litter off the central reservation.’

She says, ‘You’ll be arrested.’ And I say, ‘What a good thing to be arrested for.’

Being a billionaire’s daughter is clearly wizard. Formula 1 heiress Petra Ecclestone held a spectacular, Harry Potter-themed ninth birthday party for her daughter Lavinia (pictured) at her home in California, complete with a team of actors dressed as Hogwarts pupils.

Lucky Lavinia was given a pinata in the shape of Hermione, played by Emma Watson in the Potter films.

A wildlife charity was hired to deliver a barn owl, in tribute to Hedwig, Harry’s loyal pet.

Instead of the usual humble party bags, Lavina’s pals left with personalised Harry Potter school holdalls stuffed with goodies.

Prince Harry and Meghan’s drive to get trademarks for their Archewell brand in the U.S. has become a legal quagmire.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attempts to get trademarks for Archewell has hit a fork in the road

Two years after the couple first filed documents, basic errors and queries from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office have kept their applications for Archewell, Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio hanging in the balance.

The first documents were submitted in March 2020. But they were sent back because the application was vague and the documents weren’t signed. In June 2021, the office requested more information, and last November, it asked for yet more clarification.

Now, the application has been published in the U.S.’s Trademark Official Gazette so it can be viewed by the public and anyone with any issues can lodge an objection.

Eddie’s striking in stripes with Frozen star Barks

I dreamed a dream that the Les Miserables cast would be reunited — and here’s Eddie Redmayne with co-star Samantha Barks, who was in love with him as tragic Eponine in the Oscar-winning 2012 film.

Barks, 31, who has been starring as Elsa in Disney’s £10million stage production of its hit Frozen, enjoyed catching up with Redmayne, 40, at the WhatsonStage Theatre Awards in the West End.

The Eton-educated actor won the prize for ‘best performer in a male identifying role in a musical’ for his role as The Emcee in Cabaret.

Not sure I’d give him the best-dressed gong, though, in his pinstriped trousers and shirt combo that made him look like he was wearing a boiler suit.

Strictly Come Dancing winner Jill Halfpenny, who stars in a new TV thriller The Holiday about three former university friends hiring a villa with their families, has sobering news for her own pals: she doesn’t really like them when they’re with their kids.

‘The thing is you’re not hanging out with your mates,’ says the 46-year-old mother of one. ‘You’re hanging out with your mates as parents.

And that is a completely different ball game, because I don’t really like my friends as parents. I find them quite annoying. And I’m sure they find me annoying.’

Carole pushed the boat out to clean up oceans

Her daughter is our future queen, so this seems appropriate: Carole Middleton has launched a ‘king and queen’ range at her party paraphernalia business.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s mother says their new King And Queen Of The Sea line will benefit a good cause.

‘I am excited to be supporting the incredible work that Big Blue Ocean Cleanup does to protect our oceans,’ she says.

‘At Party Pieces we want to make it easier for people to celebrate consciously.’ ‘Celebrate consciously’?

She’s starting to sound like the achingly ‘woke’ Harry and Meghan!
