Eamonn Holmes stunned This Morning viewers today after telling chef Clodagh McKenna she should consider selling racy pictures online if her cooking career ‘doesn’t work out’.

‘Also on the show – and I was just thinking Clodagh this might be something you want to consider – a woman who used to be a police officer right.

‘So basically what she did was took off her uniform and took pictures of herself, just if the cooking doesn’t work out for you.’

Clodagh asked: ‘What has that got to do with me?’ to which Eamonn persisted:

‘Well I’m just saying, if things went wrong you could always be the sexiest chef on the internet.’

Baffled viewers quickly took to Twitter to share their shock at the comment, before slamming the presenter’s ‘sexist ramblings’.

‘Did Eamonn just basically tell Clodagh she can strip on the internet if her cooking fails?’ wrote one, while a second sarcastically sniped: ‘Eamonn, he’s on top form.’

Another furious viewer raged: ‘Nothing to see here, just the usual dose of Eamonn’s sexist ramblings!!

‘Telling Clodagh that she can sell her body if the celebrity chef thing doesn’t work out is prime time Eamonn Holmes!’

While Clodagh laughed off the comments, joking ‘I’m a far cry from that’, viewers suspected she may have lightheartedly sworn at Eamonn after the comment.

‘She definitely just said f**k off’, wrote one amused viewer.

Another asked: ‘Does she say f**k off?’
