A drug dealer has vowed to hire female delivery drivers to make women feel ‘a little bit safer’ buying cocaine, ecstasy, or cannabis from him.

The dealer, from Leeds, said ‘no one should feel on edge’ when purchasing from him in a bizarre message shared to Snapchat earlier this month.

It appears to be in response to a conversation about sexual harassment against women which emerged following the death of marketing executive Sarah Everard.

The post read: ‘Attention female customers! We have noticed a lot of females looking on edge when picking up or coming out with a friend for safety, which is totally understandable.

‘So we have decided to recruit female drivers for all female customers to make you feel that little bit safer!

‘No one should feel on edge no matter where they are!’

The dealer allegedly sells a cacophony of drugs ranging from class A to C, including cocaine, ketamine, 2CB, MDMA, pills, LSD, marijuana and ‘balloons – so-called ‘hippy crack’ inhaled through a balloon for a short high.

His post was shared to Twitter, with social media users joking that drug dealers in West Yorkshire are ‘doing more than cops’ to make women feel safe.

One man said: ‘That’s the level of customer service we should expect across the industry.’

Another added: ‘A true advocate for women.’

A third said: ‘Nothing says “I respect females” more than sending them to do your dirty work and be your runner.’

Others questioned the decision, saying: ‘I’m all for making women safe, but wouldn’t this make the drivers a bigger target for getting jacked?’
