Mr Baxter had been dating Ms Robinson since May 2020, when he had sex with a woman on December 18 of that year following an argument with his new girlfriend, Stockport Magistrates Court heard.

She told the court: ‘I was three months pregnant and received a text message from her saying she had spoken to Tom and he told her we were having a baby too early.

‘She sent that to me to cause trouble. I was upset, Tom and I had a row and I told him to leave, I thought he went to his brothers.

‘I did not find out what happened until I received a text saying he was sorry.

‘He said he went to her place that night got drunk and they slept together.

‘I was pregnant and I was really upset and angry. It broke my heart.

‘I did not believe it was rape from the outset. I am an avid Facebook user and post regularly about how I am feeling to friends and family.

‘I gave her the opportunity to nip this in the bud. I am frustrated that she has put me through this court process. I did not have a very nice pregnancy.’

Ms Robinson wrote on Facebook on December 21: ‘Now she’s gone to police accusing him of rape. I’ve seen the messages and she’s just a desperate tramp.

‘No matter what the circumstances there are lines you just do not cross as a woman. Truth will prevail.’

The hearing was told the rape allegations are currently going through a ‘court process’ but It was not disclosed whether Mr Baxter had been arrested or charged.

Prosecutor Lynn Sayers said: ‘There is an allegation of rape but the defendant thought Tom and the complainant had slept together behind her back.

‘She said, ‘I will smash her face up’, called her a ‘manipulative whore’ and told her to ‘watch her back.’ Further messages include calling her a ‘nasty bitch.’ The complainant feels harassed by the messages that have been sent to her.’

His accuser told the court: ‘There was a lot of drink involved and there was sex between us.

‘I have no recollection of what happened during the early hours. I just woke up and he was still with me in the bedroom.

‘He then left and messaged me the next day saying we had sex and that we were both in a drunken state.

‘He then told Kelly we had sex and she posted, ‘I am carrying his baby, it is not okay to f**k behind my back while I sit here crying.’

‘I rang police on December 21 and I had a video interview. I felt sick, ashamed and embarrassed.

‘But that day I saw messages from her saying: ‘You will not get away with screwing me and my children over,’ and ‘you have to face it sooner or later you manipulative whore’.

‘I felt dirty and useless as if there was something wrong with me. Anyone can see these Facebook posts and the messages are hurtful.’
