Dave Chappelle says celebrities left 'dirty notes' at White House for Trump during last Obama party

Dave Chappelle claims that celebirty guests partying the night away at a farewell event for Barack Obama were behind the ‘dirty’ notes the Trump Administration found throughout the White House.

The 47-year-old comedian appeared on supermodel Naomi Campbell’s show, ‘No Filter with Naomi’ where he said that he saw first-hand celebrities putting notes in drawers and cabinets during the former president’s farewell party.

Chapelle did not specifiy when the farewell party was held.

‘Remember when the Trump administration moved in they said, ‘the Obama staff left dirty notes for us’,’ he said.

‘I saw this happening. I’m not going to say who did it, but it was celebrities writing all this crazy shit and putting them all over there. And I saw them doing it so when I saw that on the news I laughed real hard.’

Chapelle added: ‘It was one of the last big parties the Obamas threw and I’m not gonna say those celebrities’ names … There was a thing.’

Former White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham reportedly said in a 2019 radio interview that Obama aides had left nasty notes along with Obama books in every office.

‘We came into the White House, I’ll tell you something. Every office was filled with Obama books and we had notes left behind that said ‘you will fail,’ ‘you aren’t going to make it.’

Grisham later backtracked on her claim, saying that the notes were only left in the press office.

‘I certainly wasn’t implying every office had that issue. In fact, I had a lovely note left for me in the East Wing, and I tracked the woman down and thanked her. I was talking specifically about our experience in the lower press office – nowhere else. I don’t know why everyone is so sensistive!’

Obama’s national security advisor Susan Rice called the claim a ‘bald faced lie.’

But now, Chapelle appears to back up the claim that nasty notes were in fact left in the White House, and puts the blame on celebrities.

While he didn’t reveal who wrote the notes or specify which party was the night in question, the Obama’s final farewell bash was notably attended by several A-listers, including Chappelle.

Several stars who have spoken out publicly against former President Donald Trump were in attendance at the final White House party on January 6, 2017, according to social media posts.

Chrissy Teigen, who was blocked by President Trump on Twitter, was a guest along with her husgand John Legend.

They were spotted in a photo that included comedian Jerry Seinfeld who said he would never invite Trump on his show, ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.’

Comedian Billy Eichner, a critic of Trump, was also in attendance at the farewell party.
