Dangerous moment a van driver is seen creeping down a highway while using a LAPTOP – leaving other motorists in disbelief

  • A van driver in Western Australia has been caught LED-handed by a passing car 
  • The van was driving with a laptop between the steering wheel and windscreen
  • The incident was caught on a dash-cam on Roe Highway outside of Perth 


A van driver has been caught using his laptop while driving down a highway in Western Australia.

Video shows the moment two motorists noticed that the van beside them was being driven by someone looking at a computer screen. 

The driver had the laptop on their dashboard behind the steering wheel as they slowly drove down the road.

The van was going down Roe highway just outside of Perth, where the penalty for using a laptop while driving is a $300 fine and 3 demerit points.

In the clip, the couple in the passing car are outraged as they see what the driver is doing.

‘Oh my f***ing god,’ a woman can be heard saying. 

‘The f*** are you doing?’ The man asks.  

The footage was posted on YouTube on the Scotts Car Cameras channel which publishes compilations of dashboard camera videos.

The videos normally feature examples of Australia and New Zealand’s worst and most dangerous driving.
