The airport cleaner visited the food court at Westfield St Luke’s, in the western suburbs of Auckland, from 12.15pm to 2.30pm.

Anyone who was at these venues during the identified times are considered casual contacts and should monitor for coronavirus symptoms.

New Zealand’s Ministry of Health said they have identified 16 close contacts of the airport worker.

‘This number will likely change as further scoping of this person’s movements identifies other people they have been in close contact with,’ they said in a statement.

The infected case is currently isolating at home as they are interviewed by health officials.
